7F | TEA LOUNGE
Transforming gratitude for nature into a daily ritual of rhythm.
KIMAMORI is a tea lounge rooted in Taiwanese tea,
designed for those who seek moments of stillness.
Through reservation-only tea sessions and thoughtfully curated objects,
we create for each guest a quiet encounter—
a dialogue with tea, and with oneself.

“Kimamori” comes from a Japanese autumn custom—
after the persimmon harvest, the last fruit is left on the tree as an act of gratitude to nature.
We have woven this spirit into our name,
placing “restraint and sufficiency” at the heart of our philosophy.
Here, the tea lounge becomes a space of pause and appreciation—
not only a place to drink tea,
but a gentle reminder to slow down,
to sense more deeply amid the rush,
and to practice gratitude within the everyday.

Tea is served by reservation,
hidden within the guestrooms of Hotel Uketamo—
a space that preserves stillness, rhythm, and personal distance.
At KIMAMORI, tea becomes a medium,
carrying the timeless principles of the tea ceremony—
hospitality, presence, mindful use, and sustainability—
woven into a contemporary space and guest experience.
Each session is guided by the tea host.
From the warmth of the water to the vessels chosen,
every detail responds to the day’s weather, mood, and the turning of the seasons.
A single cup becomes a bridge to inner dialogue,
a quiet ritual of awareness and presence.
